Ex sniffed out drugs, tracked people and took down bad guys for eight years. The Waynesboro Police Department put down their fellow officer, the canine named Ex because of advancing cancer on Nov. 7, two weeks after being taken out of service. He was 10 years old — 70 in dog years.
