More than 1,000 golden retrievers of every shape and size will descend upon Rhode Island at the end of the week for the Golden Retriever Club of America’s national specialty show. The event will be held from Sept. 19-28 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick, along with locations in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
