A_FUNDRAISING_FOOD_SALE for Jessica Pittman will be held in front of the Andalusia Wal-Mart on_Sat., Aug. 23, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Hotdogs, lemonade and raffle tickets will be available for purchase. All proceeds will be used to pay for the training of a diabetic alert dog.

Now that Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama has chosen his running mate, it’s time for him to concentrate on another important selection: family dog. The American Kennel Club announced today that the public has elected a Poodle as their breed of choice for the Obama family.
