BELPRE - Civitan Park in Belpre was filled with people and dogs Saturday for the fifth annual Lions Club Dog Days Festival, which raises money to purchase seeing-eye dogs for those who need them. Each year, the event raises enough money to purchase a trained dog, which costs around $8,000. An estimate of the amount raised Saturday was $7,500 to $8,000, according to organizers.
