DENVER - Armed Forces Day is all about honoring men and women who are serving this country in the military. While Ken Licklider retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1993, he continues to honor military men and women with his dog training school: Vohne Liche Kennels.
It was animal madness at the CNY Pet Expo and Adopt-a-Thon at the New Hartford Recreation Center Saturday afternoon. The event has been taking place for the last seven years. Last year, around 250 people attended, organizers said.
