Dogs adopt role in human ‘pack’ (Arizona Daily Sun)

Canis lupus familiaris, the domestic dog, has been a companion to humans for, by some estimates, over 10,000 years. The fit between human and dog is natural as both are considered social or pack animals. Thus, we humans often make up the pack that our furry friends depend on for their needs.
