The York County parks system, celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, offers eight parks covering more than 4,000 acres.

Kodiak, a long-haired German shepherd pup, keeps a schedule most people would find appealing. He frequently goes out to restaurants, museums and other fun destinations. He’s already flown to Philadelphia and this summer he’s scheduled to fly to Alaska for a vacation.
