GREENVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Teenagers in Greenville are training dogs to make sure they become suitable companions after living sheltered lives. Dr. Linda Kuhn of East Carolina Veterinary Service says the goal is the teach the dogs some good manners so people will want to adopt them.
AMBOY — Through hoops and tubes, over hurdles and up and down ramps, more than 30 dogs and their young handlers sped around the 4-H Center Saturday at the Lee County Fairgrounds.
A good duck dog can be trained in 10 minutes a day, four or five days a week, if your training program is a good one.
